Description

Subwassertang originates from perhaps Asia or India. It is unknown but it is a beautiful plant that does well in low light conditions. High lighting will bring about faster and different growth. Subwassertang resembles that of seaweed. It does not have any roots so will have to be tied down to rocks or driftwood. It will eventually attach itself but needs to be thinned out as it does become bulky. To let it clump, remove it from the filter flow. It can be left in a ball, made into a wall or simply allowed to spread out in the tank. CO2 is not necessary but will enhance growth. It makes a great hiding place for fry. This plant is for beginners.
