Description
Anubias Afzelii Old Type originates from the African continent. Another variation of the genus Anubias. Its leaves are slimmer and darker than Anubias Afzelii. It is a slow growing plant and can be grown in any conditions. Having thick leaves this plant will not be eaten by fish. Minimal fertilizer is needed. Attaching this plant to driftwood is popular and is done with fishing line or black cotton. When planting in substrate, do not cover the rhizome as it has a tendency to rot. Propagation is done by carefully slicing the rhizome in two or more.
