Description
Hairgrass Eleocharis Acicularis originated from North America. It produces thin hair like shoots that look like grass. It is commonly used as a foreground plant and grows to a height of 15cm. It uses runners to propagate. With a fertilized substrate and sufficient lighting, a dense mat can be formed in a matter of weeks. When planting in an aquarium, care should be taken when removing the pot not to damage the roots.
