Echinodorus plants are easy plants to maintain with very few demands. Their large leaves come in all different shapes. They make great feature plants for the aquarium. Constant pruning is needed as they can grow quite large. Can be kept under low lit conditions but moderate to high is favourable. Co2 is not necessary but is used to bring out their intense colouring. Propagation arises from new plants forming along a stem of a mature plant.
